Former Uganda Cranes midfielder, Johnson ‘Jonny Bags’ Bagoole has passed on this evening at Lira referral hospital. The news has been confirmed by Soana FC midfielder, Osama Farouk who is at Lira referral hospital.
Bagole who was bedridden for more than a month with malaria, was transferred to Lira on Tuesday where he was diagnosed with Crytococal Meningitis.
He was pronounced dead this evening and burial arrangements will be communicated soon.
Bagole played for Iganga Town Council, Express Football Club, APR, Rayon Sports (Rwanda), Sofapaka Sports Club, AS Vita Sports Club and Bukavu Dawa (Democratic Republic of Congo).
