Ever since the social media tax was effected on the 1st of July many notable celebrities have come out to speak about the unpopular levy imposed on Ugandans.

The controversial tax saw a number of influential youth led by Honorable Kyagulanyi Ssentamu stage a peacefully demonstration to show their dissatisfaction to the government of Uganda.

Just like most celebritie have come out to give their point of view,Big Talent C.E.O Eddy Kenzo has also come out to show his frustration about the tax.

According to Eddy Kenzo the main reason Why Tanzanian Artists are big on social media is because internet in Tanzania is very cheap a factor which enables almost every one to open up social media accounts.

He goes on to assert that even mere TV presenters in Tanzania command a huge following in the range of millions which is quite difficult to see in Uganda because not so many people are able to afford data to open up social media accounts.

Kenzo further warns that the social media tax will make it even much more harder for the Ugandan artists to grow their presence online since the majority of Ugandans will be deprived by the cost of staying online.
