Eng. Ben Immanuel Misagga has bowed to fans pressure and resigned as SC Villa president. Missaga who has led SC Villa for the past four years announced his resignation today at a general meeting convened at Villa Park.

His resignation comes a couple of weeks after FUFA suspended SC Villa elections that were scheduled to take place on August 14th and directed stakeholders to hold until at least before December 2018.
“My term of office ended yesterday (Saturday) but Fufa did stop elections, “From today onwards, am no longer SC Villa president but will stay on as a fan,” Emotional Missaga told fans and and immediately sat into his car and left along with some of his executive members.

The revelation was greeted with cheers from a section of fans led by Denis Mbidde who targets to take over the club presidency while grief was observed on faces of those who till believed in him.
During Misagga’s four year term in office, SC Villa has won one trophy – The Uganda Cup in 2015 and finished in the top three in the league.
