Betty Bakireke Nambooze has survived jail when police summoned her for allegedly inciting members of the public to attack public figures.

Police accuse the Mukono Municipality MP on the 9th of June of inciting members of the public by uttering and posting on social media to attack and murder public figures however, well guarded government may guard them.

MP Nambooze, who arrived at Kibuli CID police in an ambulance and then carried on wheel chair, was granted bail on a non-cash bond of 5million, each of her sureties was granted a 10 million bond.

Nambooze, represented by her lawyer, Erias Lukwago, will again appear before Court on 27th September.
