Bobi Wine is expected to address the media Thursday evening but has spoken to BBC about his intentions.
Bobi Wine real names Robert Kyagulanyi is in the US for specialized treatment after undergoing torture after the Arua election which turned ugly, costing a life.
In an interview with the BBC, the singer turned politician, said: “I’m going to continue, most importantly calling upon Ugandans especially, young people to stand up for what they believe in and never to give up. To continue pushing until they get the freedom and dignity they deserve.”
Bobi Wine vowed: “And it is a fight we must win or die trying.”
