City socialite, Charles Olim commonly known as Sipapa yesterday was detained at Kira Police Station over assaulting a Spark TV journalist, Alex Bongole.

Sipapa who came into the limelight a few years ago by cruising expensive cars and sponsoring artistes is reported to have beaten up Alex Bongole who was taking pictures of him when he was being evicted from his house 3 months ago.
Learning that Bongole was to open the case at Police, Sipapa stormed Serena based TV, apologised and requested to settle matters amicably.
Inside sources claim that Sipapa failed to settle as he had promised which prompted Bongole to open a case at Kira police.
This is not the first time Sipapa has been at the wrong side of the law;
In May this year, Sipapa thumped the girlfriend, Brown Sugar to pulp accusing her of sleeping around with series of men.
On May 8, he was charged with violating traffic rules.
