FT:
Express FC 1-1 Vipers SC

Defending champions, Vipers SC snatched a late controversial equalizer against Express FC in a 1-1 draw league match played at Mutesa II Stadium – Wankulukuku this evening.

Tony Odur converted a penalty to give Express an early lead in 30 minute but Tito Okello’s late controversial goal in 83rd minute helped the Venons to pick a point.
Express FC had an early chance to score but Odur failed to convert one on one chance. In 28th minute, Ibrahim Kayiwa was fouled in the box and Odur punished former club with a well converted spot kick.
Daniel Serunkuma also had a chance to punish former employers but but missed a penalty in the 35th minute.

The 6-time league champions had a game in control to pocket the 3 points until the 83rd minute when the assistant referee rewarded Vipers a controversial goal with two players in a clear offside position.

A draw takes Vipers SC in second place with 15 points. KCCA FC remain top with 15 points but on a better goal difference after yesterday’s 3-2 win over SC Villa
Express FC remain 5th with 12 points.
