Eddy Kenzo is determined not to give up on his fight to garner support for Bebe Cool ahead of the upcoming AFRIMMA Awards, despite criticism from some of his fans.
Having seemingly matured and put aside his bad blood with Bebe Cool, Kenzo has taken a positive stand of encouraging his followers to forget the past differences between him and the Gagamel singer and unite to bring the Award home.
“Vote for Bebe cool in afrima guys!! Tuyina okwegata mumbera nga eno bweti Team Uganda let’s do this for our country. Vote vote vote. Together we can ,” States Eddy Kenzo.
However,angry social media fans who aren’t royal to the Gagamel family have roasted ‘Taata Amaal’ for forcing them to vote for someone who behaves negatively towards the Ugandan talent.
It’s worth remembering that the fans developed dislike for the ‘Nsirikamu’ singer ever since he turned so negative towards Kenzo’s success as half baked and not real to the extent of devaluing his music Awards . They therefore maintain that he does not deserve support .
Well, Bebe Cool was recently nominated to battle it out with Diamond Platinumz as the Best Male Eastern African artiste in the African Music Awards due on 21st-24th this month in Accra,Ghana and he needs local support so as to succeed in the event.
It is important to note that Bebe Cool is the only Ugandan in the Best Male Artiste Eastern Africa category and is nominated for his song,’ Freedom’ where he will have to beat singer will have to beat Diamond Platnumz(Tanzania),Harmonize(Tanzania),Kagwe Mungai(Kenya),Khaligraph Jones(Kenya),Nyashinsk(Kenya),Rayvzony Tanzania) and Yamiu Mola from Ethiopia.
Other Ugandan nominees include; Sheebah Karungi, Irene Namatoovu, and Sandra Nankoma.
