Vipers 1-0 El Merriekh (2-2 Aggregate)
Uganda Premier league Champions, Vipers SC have progressed to the first round of the Total CAF Champions League for the first time after defeating Sudan giants, El Merriekh 1-0 this evening at St. Marys Stadium in Kitende.

Abaraham Ndugwa’s strike in 46th minute was enough to seal Vipers’ progression following 2-1 defeat in Khartoum last Wednesday. 1-0 win means 2-2 draw on aggregate but the Vemons go through on away goals rule.
Vipers SC will face the aggregate winner between Gambia’s Gamtel and CS Constantine of Algeria.
