In the wee hours of morning a contingent of 32 KCCA FC staff and players boarded Kenya Airways and headed to Tanzania to play CAF Confederation Cup second leg match against Mtibwa Sugar SC slated to take place on Saturday.
The contingent comprises of 18 players, seven technical team, two media personnel and officials.
Notable absentees on the team were; on-form striker, Partick Kaddu who scored a hat trick against Paidha Black Angels on Sunday, central defender, Bernard Muwanga and midfielder, Julius Poloto.
KCCA FC registered a comfortable 3-0 win in the first leg and a draw is enough for Mike Hillary Mutebi’s boys to book a place in the group stage.
