Uganda Premier League
Police FC 2-2 SC Villa
SC Villa saw a two goal lead cut to nothing when Police FC battled to share the spoils at Phillip Omondi Stadium at Lugogo, in Kampala.
Juma Balinya did the damage with a second half brace for Police FC, scoring in the 56th and 82nd minutes of play.
Villa started the game very well with Lwanga Charles getting his name on the scoresheet in the 31st minute.
Lwanga then ruined it for his club when he was sent off for dangerous play in the 35th minute leaving the battle for the rest of the game with 10 men.
However, the sending off of the player did not stop club marksman, Bashir Mutanda from doubling the lead in the 41st minute, taking his tally to 10 goals.
It was SC Villa’s 5th draw this season helping them jump a place to 12th in the league standings.
The point for Abdallah Mubiru’s side leaves them at position 7th with 21 points.
