Express 0-0 Ndejje Univeristy

Express FC suffered a frustrating afternoon at Muteesa Stadium, Wankulukuku after their must win game against Ndejje University ended in a barren draw.

The draw Express FC at joint 7th position with Police FC who both share 21 points.

The club boss, Kefa Kisala, told media it just wasn’t his day after seeing Tony Odur and Mubarak Nsubuga fail to convert near chances for the club.

Kisala said: “In the first half we did not perform well but in the second half we pushed them well.”

He revealed: “We were just unlucky because we did not score otherwise today. We have kept a clean sheet because we have been conceding match in match out.”

Kisala added: “but today it was not our day we tried our best but in vain so we have ended the first round. We are going to sit and see whether we can beef up if at all the players are available so that we push more in the second round.”

Midfield star, David Mayanja admitted: “We failed to convert our chances.”
