Express Vs Ndejje University – Betway Mutesa II stadium, Wankulukuku

Express seek to end the first round on a high when they host Ndejje University at Wankulukuku.

The six time champions have had an average first round with only five wins in 14 games so far and have won just two in the last eight outings.

But they will fancy their chances against a Ndejje side that languish in relegation zone with only eight points.

The Red Eagles have no injury worries ahead of this afternoon’s clash. Shafiq Nana Kakeeto who was knocked during the 1-1 draw with Maroons is back in training and available for selection on Thursday.

Eric Kambale, Tonny Odur, Michael Birungi and Ibrahim Kayiwa will be the players tasked to unlock the visiting defence.

A win could see the Red Eagles end the first round in 5th position on the 16-team log.
