A suspect who was arrested on suspicion of murdering two Congolese girls at old Kampala, has confessed and police are yet to establish his motive.

Malimali Ndihoma Sisco Mashal Justine, was arrested by AVIPOL at Entebbe Airport while trying to flee the country.

Upon arrest, he was forwarded to Old Kampala police on suspicion that he might have killed the two girls whose bodies were found decomposing in an apartment at Kakeeka zone in Rubaga Municipality on Sunday.

The deceased were identified as Hulda Njiba and another one only identified as Safi. Safi and Njiba had been reported missing from Entebbe on Thursday last week.

Malimali confessed to the murder though he claimed it was a kidnap. Investigations however reveal that, Malimali and Njiba were involved in a love relationship before Njiba got another boyfriend. It is highly suspected that Malimali killed Njiba for breaking his heart.

The suspect is currently detained at Old Kampala.
