Head coach, Asaph Mwebaze and his assistants, Joseph Kiwanuka and Juma Ssekiziyivu have quit relegation bound, Nyamityobora FC following a 2-0 loss to Express FC yesterday at Kakyeka Stadium, Mbarara.

Mwebaze who joined Abanyakare in late November, replacing James Odoch left relegation threaten side citing intrigue, player factions and in-fighting within the club step up.

Nyamityobora FC team manager, Sulait Makumbi confirmed that the three coaches resigned after Express FC loss.

“Mwebaze and his assistants have resigned because of the poor run of results at the club. At the moment, we have no one in charge and soon the club management will convene to seek a way forward”

Ssekiziyivu will now concentrate on the club’s junior side (U-19 team).

This was Asaph Mwebaze’s 3rd club he has managed this season, following his stints at Maroons FC and Onduparaka FC.

He has left the club in 15th position with just 12 points from 19 matches. They have won 3 matches, drawn 3 and lost 13.
