A 30 year man working with power suppliers, Umeme has died after being punched by a bouncer at Mist Bar and Lougue in Kabale.
Godfrey Kanyesigye had been admitted at Mbarara Regional Referral hospital, in comma, since Valentine’s Day when the assault happened.
Kanyesigye, according to friends who were with him at the bar, was beaten by a bouncer identified as Frank Kingston, following a quarrel over a girl, — a student at Kabale University.
The bouncer claimed the student was his girlfriend, and questioned what Kanyesigye was doing with her in the parking lot. A fight broke up, which left Kanyesigye unconscious, with severe injuries on the head and chest.
Police Spokesman, Fred Enanga says the police are on the hunt for Kingston, who immediately went into hiding.
