” The two clubs officially reached an agreement on the loan terms of the forward.

Luwagga becomes the second Ugandan player to feature in the Kazakhstan Premier League after the now retired Cranes Captain Andrew Mwesigwa.

Mwesigwa was the first ever Ugandan player to embrace the Kazakhstan football at FC Ordabasy between 2011 and 2014.

This becomes the second loan stint for the former Bunamwaya (now Vipers) player from Iasi after spending the closing stages of last year at Belarusian champions BATE Borisov.

Luwagga has also previously played for Leixoes, Sporting Covilha, CD Feirense and Rio Ave all in Portugal.

His new club, located in the City of Karaganda, won the Premier League twice in 2011 and 2012 before winning the Kazakhstan Cup in 2013.

Luwagga is expected to return to Romania after the end of the 2019 Kazakhstan topflight league which runs from February to November.
