AFCON QUALIFIER

Tanzania 3-0 Uganda
Asan Kasingye is fuming after Uganda Cranes fell down, to Tanzania’s Taifa Stars, three an unanswered goals to help their neighbors to qualify for the Afcon after 39 years of waiting.
Tanzania saw themselves sail through after achieving the three goals and points demand in a record attendance at their National Stadium in Dar es Salaam.
The Assistant Inspector General of Police, Chief Political Commissar, questioned the team’s display when he took to Twitter after the game ended.
@AKasingye
Never seen a disappointing @UgandaCranes in a long, long time. Is it poor selection? Is it because we have already qualified? Whatever the reason, this is treasonous.
When I saw them taking players who warm the benches of their own clubs here, you remember I questioned the wisdom of the coach. I was told the players are from the best clubs in Uganda and the chairman of a club like @UgPoliceFC has no business commenting on @UgandaCranes. Shame.
For the first time, the @UgandaCranes coach must explain to us the team selection. I smelt a rat, when certain clubs chest thumped about how many of their players were selected. Never mind that a certain player only comes on as a sub for his own local team. Shame @OfficialFUFA.
There was no battle. If you mean a war, yes I agree. The qualification war was real. However, the battle against @TaifaStars_ was to say the least, embarrassing.
