On a sunny Friday afternoon, golfers from all walks of life gathered at Uganda Golf Club, Kitante to set off for the second round of Uganda Open Tour in Mbale.

In the wee hours of Saturday morning, the thrilling tournament at Mbale Golf Course, was already ongoing where over 60 golfers ardently participated and the winners were awarded in a colorful dinner set up later in the evening.

Courtesy of Uganda Tourism Board which purports that golf is another chief aspect that can promote tourism as it’s the trend world over.

Golfers proudly visited the nearby tourist destination site, the beautiful Wanale Hill.

Any visitor to Mbale will see it, standing tall with pride and grandeur, such an imposing beauty from a distance. Wanale Hill is a great attraction and the ascent to it’s peak exhilarated many.

The following day, golfers then enjoyed the magnificent picturesque over the spreading hikes around Sipi Falls with great views over the eastern surging Kapchorwa plains and the rocky slopes of Mount Elgon.

The second destination for Uganda Open Tour is slated on 27th April in Tooro.
