Singer Edris Musuuza aka Eddy Kenzo believes Bebe Cool has not inspired any vibrant artists in Uganda today like his fellow counterparts, Jose Chameleone and Bobi Wine have done.
Kenzo stresses that many big artists including him have always wanted to be like either Chameleone or Bobi but not like Bebe.
“…i don’t find Bebe inspirational because no single big artist looks up to him…Look, Chameleone has inspired very many big artists like Radio and Weasel, Ziza Bafana…Bobi inspired me”, he said in his recent interview.
However, he acknowledges that Bebe is a certified legend who has kept the industry very competitive.
Worthy to note is that songbird Rema Namakula who doubles as Kenzo’s official daily meal passed through Bebe’s Gagamel.
