The hearing of a case in which  Kyadondo East Member of Parliament, Robert Kyagulanyi as accused of disobeying statutory order has been deferred after the musician-cum-politician failed to appear in court.

However, his co-accused;  David Lule alias Selector Davie, Julius Katongole,  Nyanzi Fred Ssentamu and Edward Sebuufu were in court.

Bobi Wine’s lawyers led by Asuman Basalirwa told Buganda Road Magistrate’s Court that Kyagulanyi was unable to appear in person because he is out of the country on official duties.

Basalirwa told court that Kyagulanyi had sent one of his sureties Patrick Nsamba Oshabe (MP Kasanda South) to represent him.

However,  Barbara Kyomugisha, a state prosecutor  asked court presided by Grade one Magistrate, Esther Nahilya to issue criminal summons against Kyagulanyi for shunning court. Nahilya decided to extend the bail of all suspects until July 10 when the hearing will commence.
