THE Premier League opening day fixtures have reportedly been leaked online.
A picture uploaded on social media claims the new season will kick off with a clash between beaten Champions League finalists Tottenham and newly-promoted Norwich.
According to the screenshot, Mauricio Pochettino’s men will face the Canaries in the 12.30pm kick-off on Saturday August 10.
The game will apparently be shown live on Sky Sports, before a host of 3pm fixtures take place.
But not all fans are convinced by the “leak” as both Sky and BT – who share TV rights for the Premier League – do not usually announce which games they will be covering until a few weeks after the fixtures are released.
The picture goes on to suggest Bournemouth host Sheffield United, who finished second in the Championship this season, on the opening day.
While Crystal Palace welcome Europa League runners-up Arsenal to Selhurst Park.
Everton host Newcastle in a mouth-watering tie at Goodison Park.
While Europa champions Chelsea travel to Southampton in a tricky tie.
The final 3pm fixture apparently sees Watford host West Ham at Vicarage Road.
And the day’s action is concluded with Champions League winners Liverpool going to Burnley.
Super Sunday then sees Championship play-off winners Aston Villa take on Midlands rivals Leicester at Villa Park.
