Paul Pogba ‘is willing to go on strike’ in order to force through his move from Manchester United to Real Madrid.

The French midfielder is determined to leave Old Trafford this summer and link up with compatriot Zinedine Zidane at the Bernabeu.

And, according to Spanish news outlet ABC, Pogba is willing to take drastic steps in order to make the move happen.

They report that Pogba will refuse to join his United team-mates when pre-season begins at the start of next month.

Pogba is set to fly to America for his summer holiday while his agent Mino Raiola tries to push through a move to Real that could be worth £150million.

Since returning to United from Juventus for a then world record £89m in the summer of 2016, Pogba has generally failed to scale the heights the Manchester club expected.

The midfielder fell out with Jose Mourinho at the beginning of last season and, though his form improved briefly under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, the Norwegian isn’t enough to persuade him to stay.
