MANCHESTER UNITED have reportedly been told to pay £430million for Real Madrid superstar Raphael Varane.

The Star claims Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is desperate for a new centre-back this summer.

And he may be tempted to splash the cash on a world-class defender to bolster United’s faltering backline.

Kalidou Koulibaly has been mentioned as a possible option.

But it’s said that Solskjaer’s preferred choice is World Cup winner Varane.

The ace is regarded as one of the world’s best in his position.

However, United will apparently have to meet Varane’s enormous £430m release clause for Real to even consider parting ways.

Meanwhile, additional reports claim Christian Eriksen fancies a move to Old Trafford.

The Spurs ace is out of contract next summer and is believed to be keen on an exit.
