NEYMAR has told Paris Saint-Germain he won’t play for them again in an extreme effort to force through a move to Barcelona, according to reports.

The 27-year-old Brazilian superstar is desperate for a return to the Nou Camp.

But the French side have slapped a whopping £273million asking price on the attacker in a bid to put off his former club going for him again.

Spanish news outlet Sport claim Neymar – who recently had an alleged rape case against him dropped – is unwilling to meet any of PSG’s demands until a move has been agreed.

But Parc des Princes chief Leonardo said last month the club had received “no concrete offers” for Neymar.

The £198m man missed the Copa America with an ankle injury and did not report back in Paris for the first day of pre-season.

He eventually joined up with the side but was reportedly training on his own temporarily during the club’s pre-season tour of China before joining in with the rest of the squad.

Neymar is yet to play any games since returning from his summer off.

Respected French newspaper L’Equipe say Neymar, whose contract runs until 2022, is going all out to go back to Spain.

But they further claim that Barcelona “do not have the means to pay the bill”.

Other reports say, however, that a meeting has been set up in Liverpool between chiefs of the two sides in the hope of agreeing a deal.
