BRIGHTON have agreed a £22million fee with Bristol City for Adam Webster – and it could be good news for Harry Maguire.

The Seagulls are now set to discuss personal terms with the 24-year-old defender before he undergoes a medical.

And his expected arrival on the South Coast could kick-off a huge domino effect that results in Leicester City’s Maguire finally securing his dream move to Manchester United.

Brighton have identified the former England youth centre-half Webster as the ideal replacement for Lewis Dunk.

Dunk, 27, is wanted by Leicester boss Brendan Rodgers to fill the void left by Maguire’s departure.

The Foxes are set to splash around £40m of the £80m they expect to rake in on the sale of Maguire to buy Dunk.

Webster only joined the Robins from Ipswich last summer for just £3.5m.

But Brighton are now prepared to break the bank for the 6ft 4in ace as they could be flush with cash from selling Dunk.

All the while, the man to kick-start the whole process, Maguire, is growing more and more agitated.

The England ace desperately wants to push through his dream Manchester United move.
