MANCHESTER UNITED might have found Romelu Lukaku’s replacement in Athletic Bilbao hotshot Inaki Williams.

But they will have to meet the 25-year-old £81million release clause at the Spanish side.

Lukaku looks to be on his way out of Old Trafford before the transfer window slams shut, with Inter Milan the likely destination.

But it’s not known if United will accept the rumoured £70m bid from the Italians for the striker.

But if he does exit Old Trafford, Williams has been sounded out as his replacement.

According to El Chiringuito TV, the Spanish international has been sounded out by United chiefs, impressed with his form in La Liga.

LIGHTNING FAST FORWARD

But SunSport understand the striker wouldn’t exactly feature high on the shortlist of replacements.

Last season he scored 14 goals in 41 appearances, and became feared for his rapid pace – something Lukaku wanted to highlight he had too.

SunSport exclusively revealed that the former Chelsea striker has been fined TWICE by United heaping more misery on his shoulders.

Lukaku believed he had permission to train away from the club’s Carrington HQ but has been punished for spending two days this week with Anderlecht.

United have also clamped down on him for a tweet showing the speeds of his teammates which were recorded during a pre-season session.
