Raheem Sterling is set to join sport’s top commercial earners after reportedly being offered a Pepsi endorsement.

Should the deal materialise, the Manchester City and England star would appear in adverts for the popular soda beverage alongside Lionel Messi and Paul Pogba ahead of next summer’s European championships.

According to The Telegraph, Sterling has been courted by some of the world’s top brands including Air Jordan and H&M but Pepsi look set to snap up the 24-year-old in the huge endorsement deal.

The winger’s performances for club and country in the last few years have seen him become one of the most sought-after athletes in world football, putting him alongside the best the sport has to offer.

The deal will reportedly be for 12 months while Sterling will be one of the key figures for the Euro 2020 campaign along with Messi.

Messi has been the face of Pepsi since the 2014 World Cup finals and tends to feature prominently alongside a player of the day.

Liverpool’s Egyptian superstar Mohamed Salah is one of the most recent to feature in the Pepsi adverts next to the Argentine.
