Super Talented RnB musician Robert Sylvester Kelly a.k.a R. Kelly yesterday afternoon appeared in court for the hearing of his case

His appearance this week comes after a warrant was issued for Kelly’s arrest, after he failed to turn up to court in Minnesota. The Ignition singer was due to appear at a hearing on Thursday 12 September, after he was charged with two counts of soliciting prostitution from someone under the age of 18. However, Kelly – real name Robert Kelly – was a no-show in court, as he is currently incarcerated at a prison in Chicago, facing charges including child porn and obstruction of justice.

The I Believe I Can Fly singer is facing 18 counts of serious sexual misconduct, as well as five federal charges including kidnapping and racketeering. He has vehemently denied all allegations. If found guilty, he could face up to 30 years in prison.
