More misery continue to take the faces of Tooro United staff, supporters and well wishers as the club endlessly loses important individuals.

Yesterday, 9th October 2019 after the club’s one all draw against Proline fc at home in Fort Portal, news regarding the resignation of the club Chief Executive Officer Moses Tusiime circulated all over different social media platforms.

In a resignation letter addressed to the club’s president Sperito Ssesanga, Moses pointed out the conditions at work to be unfavourable yo him to continue with the job.

“I hope your work is going well and this finds you in good health. I want to inform you that iam stepping down as CEO of your club (Tooro United Fc) with immediate effect, so you can effectively take me off your list if employees” reads the letter.

“It has been a hard and difficult decision to make but due to the club’s situation, i have been forced to move on to new ventures.” Moses.

“My stay stay at Tooro United fc has been beneficial in ways that i can not explain in this letter but just know i will always hold Tooro United Fc in high regard because it has taught me alot” added Tusiime.

“In case you need my advice on anything, please feel free to contact me and i will gladly help where i can.” Ends the letter.

Tusiime has been a long time servant at the club since he joined it in 2012-2014 during its Big League days as a player. He soon retired from football after the club gained promotion to the top tier.

In 2015, Moses Tusiime took up the CEO job at the club under the presidency of Smart Obedi who later this year in June sold the team to a new holder Ssesanga.

Tusiime’s resignation follows the club’s first historical media officer Nsereko Isa Musoke who resigned in July this year and the most performing manager in the club’s history Richard Wasswa Bbosa in the recently concluded October.

Shaban Lubega ‘Benteke’ who is currently the media officer at the Tooro based club is also expected to hand in his letter of resignation in the coming few days.

The first two departures all pointed out poor management, interference in their line of service, arrogance and three months unpaid arrears.

Tooro currently sit in the 12th position with 14 points after 13 games played. The team is under the hands of Eric Ndifuna on a care taker role who is also likely to throw in a towel any time soon.
