Onduparaka Fc coach Livingstone Mbabazi is set to be renamed Mbarara City fc coach.

The Onduparaka tactician is expected to throw in a towel at the Arua based club that has struggled financially of recent.

He met with Mbarara City president Hon. Mwine Mpaka on Monday morning in a meeting held at Kati Kati and a deal has reportedly been reached.

Mbabazi left Mbarara City last season, terminating his contract that still had a one year running.

The Ankole Lions have recently parted ways with headcoach Paul Nkata who had replaced Brian Ssenyondo after a string of poor results.

Ssenyondo has been in charge of the Ankole Lions training sessions upto date at Kakyeka Stadium and the club has also reached Wasswa Bbosa for the vacant job.
