Uganda v Malawi

Uganda Cranes have secured a crucial away point in Burkina Faso, however, fans will have to endure boring evenings watching their side play under the new boss Johnny McKinstry.

It was McKinstry’s first competitive game for the Uganda Cranes away in West Africa.

Uganda needed the points, however, they arrived at a cost to viewers who had to go through torrid times with the entire team behind the ball most of the times.

The Northern Irish Manager seemed settled for a point, bringing in Isaac Muleme on for Patrick Kaddu and Nicholas Wadada for Bevis Mugabi.

Cranes struggled to get the ball to the opposition half. And when they did, they did little or nothing. The attacking force of Emma Okwi, Kaddu, Abdu Lumala simply failed to click and McKinstry will expect they switch on when the Uganda entertain Malawi here on Sunday.
