The lifeless body of a woman who was reported missing five months ago has been discovered in an incomplete building in Kigorobya II Cell Hoima district.

The deceased identified as Sauya Alinaitwe 23, a resident of Kigorobya II Cell in South East Ward in Kigorobya town council went missing in last year in September on allegations of kidnap and murder.

Police immediately started a manhunt for the husband who ran into hiding the moment the case of his wife’s disappearance was reported.

Police also arrested Amisi Kwezi, the LC I Chairperson of Kigorobya II Cell and three others to help out with investigations.

Julius Hakiza, the Albertine region police spokesperson says that the skeletal remains of the deceased were first found by residents on Friday in the uncompleted house a few meters from Kigorobya Church of Uganda Primary School.
