A horny 24-year old woman in Masindi district has been locked up for reportedly luring a naive 15-year-old boy to romp with her.
It is alleged that on the 17th February 2020, the suspect a resident of the Kisanja trading center in Pakanyi sub-county convinced the boy to spend a night at her place on grounds that she was scared to stay home alone, she then bought alcohol that the two reportedly sipped together before seducing him into sex with her.
Peter Mukasa, the Masindi police-community liaison officer says the matter was made known to them by the mother to the boy who filed a case of defilement with police after her son returned home and narrated to her what transpired.
The woman is still locked up on defilement charges pending her appearance in court to answer to the said charges.
Mukasa said this is the first case of defilement of this kind since the act was amended.
Section 129 of the Penal Code Act was amended in 2007, to include defilement of persons under 18 years of age. previously the crime of defilement only applied to girls under the age of 18 discriminating against the boy child.
This now means that the current law punishes the defilement of both girls and boys.
