Ronald Mayinja must thank Dr. Kizza Besigye for the helping hand.
Mayinja found himself at crossroads a few weeks ago when he performed at the party organised by NRM to hail MPs who helped erase the age limit from the Constitution.
The singer had to drive to Jinja with FDC leader Dr. Kizza Besigye to redeem his political career as many had predicted his collapse.
Dr. Besigye who was hunting votes for FDC candidate, Paul Mwiru, indeed helped the singer rekindle his political ambitions by ushering him to the crowd and sweet-talking them to receive him in good faith.
The opposition politician went on to assure the crowd: “Singer Ronald Mayinja used Mwiru Campaign rally to clear the air about mixing with political “lepers”! He awaits he can never be one of them or support them! He entertained the crowd. “Obunkenke” to blame! Thanks Ronald.”
