Jose Chameleone, before a multitude of people at the Easter Wato Wato Festival at Jahazi Pier Munyonyo, announced that on 30th November this year, he will hold another concert. His die-hard fans were however disappointed when he changed his mind about the date, after Sheebah Karungi had announced later that she would hold her concert on that very day.
Jose Chameleone has always been known as the Machoman who gets what he wants, not just because of his stature, but also his music, and many of his fans expected him not to pull out of the race to hold a mega concert at the same day as Sheebah, who is currently ranked the best female musician in the country.
On stage at the Zzina Beach Carnival last night at Lido Beach, The Heavyweight Doctor said he left the day for Sheebah because he is over those games and showbiz battles.
“I sacrificed my education and fought for this music industry to put in where it is from scratch. That’s why I left Sheebah.”
However, Chameleone’s conclusion sounded more like a diss to Sheebah,
“I have had a million concerts and she has just started.”
The Leone Island Boss concluded like I said, rarely gives in easily, whatever prompted him to retreat real quick, we don’t know either.
