SC Villa Vs URA

Mandela National Stadium, Namboole SC Villa head coach Moses Basena and his deputy Nestroy Kizito can afford to smile ahead of Thursday’s Fufa Super 8 encounter with URA at Namboole.
Depleted to the core just weeks ago, Villa now have in their ranks established names like Habib Kavuma, Mike Serumaga, Manko Kaweesa, Yusuf Mukisa, Joseph Nsubuga and Savio Kabugo.

“I think we now have a team to bank on in the next game against URA,” Basena said after spending a week with his new look side.

After the departure of experienced players like Allan Kyambadde, Bernard Muwanga and Nicholas Kasozi to archrivals KCCA, Villa is reportedly courting stars like Paul Mucureezi, Deus Bukenya and Emma Okwi to join them in their rebuilding process.
Basena is also sweet talking left winger Martin Kizza to stay at the club. Stay tuned for more from Villa Park.
