Mafia’s have been cited in the continued Gen. Kale Kayihura detention.
Gen. Kayihura has been in military facility since his arrest from his home in Kashagama, Lyantonde two months ago without trial.
Leaders from his district and family plus friends convened at Mulago Catholic Parish to pray for his release.

LCV Chairperson Kisoro District Abel Bizmana told media, they suspect mafia activity in Kayihura’s continued detention.
Bizmana pleaded: “President Museveni know in your political circles there are rivalries. There are mafias, there are enemies of each other and those are the people causing trouble to Uganda.”
The Kisoro leader prayed: “We have come to ask God, where were you when the President and Kayihura were thanksgiving in Kisoro? God what has happened to you? Why are you keeping quiet? We are asking God to visit President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni in a dream and see Kayihura in his original sense as he was a friend. He can not be too dangerous now.”
