Abdu Katuntu strongly believes the party has reached dead end in reconciling bruising members.

Party President Patrick Oboi Amuriat unleashed the axe on to the leader of opposition in Parliament Winnie Kiiza and replaced her with Betty Aol Ochan which did not boil down well within the party.

Katuntu revealed on the Capital Gang show over the weekend that there is a high level of arrogance in the party.

The Bugweri North MP said: “The voices of decent are not tolerated in FDC and this does not bode well with many who do not subscribe to the way things are being done.”

Katuntu seemed to suggest that there is no room for reconciliation in the party after the battle lines were drawn.

Amuriat is a Dr. Kizza Besigye leaning President according to Katuntu and those that do not believe in his leadership, continue to work outside of the party rules.

Elections in Bugiri and now the ongoing Arua election have clearly defined who is who.

Gen. Mugisha Muntu, Paul Mwiru, Okumu Reagan and Francis Gonahasi have defied party directive to declare their support to Independent Kasiano Wadri in the Arua election.
