Bobi Wine’s wife Barbie Kyagulanyi has put police to task to explain her husband’s whereabouts.
Bobi Wine was arrested on Tuesday morning at his hotel in Arua after chaotic scenes on Monday night that saw President Yoweri Museveni’s convoy reportedly pelted with stones.

Barbie and the singer cum politician’s family in a news conference held in Kampala castigated reports that her husband is being held in a military facility.

She roared: “Everybody else has spoken. My husband is missing. The latest we have as a family is this headline.

The mother of four went on: “Bobi Wine held in Military Barracks. That brings a huge question to me.”

Barbie explained: “My husband is not and has never been in the military. He has no military experience, does not even know how to use a gun.”

She stated: “I am sure he can’t differentiate between different guns out there.
Now I wonder why is my husband held in a military barracks.”

Barbie questioned: “What has he done to deserve this? He left home to go and work like he has been doing. It is his right to go and campaign for the candidate he believes in.”

She demanded: “If he has a case to answer and if there is anything he did wrong in Arua, what haven’t we heard from him all these days? And why is the police not communicating to us in a proper way?”
