Gen. Kale Kayihura is expected at the General Court Martial in Kampala.
Gen. Kayihura was in June picked from his country home Katebe village, Kashagama sub-county Lyantonde district and incarcerated at Makindye Military Barracks.
The former police boss since his arrest has never been produced before court.
According to senior journalist Andrew Mwenda, Gen. Kayihura will appear at Makindye Thursday and be charged with neglect of duty and abuse of office.
Mwenda posted on his Twitter account: “I can confirm that former Inspector General of Police, Gen. Kale Kayihura, will appear before the court martial tomorrow on charges of neglect of duty and abuse of office.”
