In an open letter to the supporters of Bobi Wine, Barbie thanked everyone who showed her husband support during his trying moments in the hands of the military but also went ahead to demand justice for the family of Bobi Wine’s driver Yasin Kawuma who was shot dead in Arua during the election violence plus a number of people who were injured during the protests

Although Barbie expressed a sigh of relief at the court’s decision to allow Bobi Wine get access to private medical doctors while in prison, she stated that it was necessary for him receive specialized treatment form a standard medical facility once he is completely freed.’’ He is still frail and in bad health. The magistrate granted him access to private doctors and we hope this will help in the meantime.
