The army chief Gen. David Muhoozi last night opened up about Gen. Kale Kayihura’s appearance at the General Court in Kampala.
Gen. Kayihura had spent over a month in jail without being produced in court after his arrest by the army at his country home in Kashagama, Lyantonde.
While addressing a news conference at the Media Centre in Kampala, Gen. Muhoozi revealed that like any other citizen, the former police chief has right to bail.

The army chief explained: “Gen. Kayihura has a right to bail if he satisfies court. The merits of the case, I can’t mention.”
Gen. Muhoozi added: “The speculations that he’ll be held in arrest without being presented to court I’m sure have ended now that he went there”
