The son of former Makerere University Vice Chancelor Prof. Senteza Kajubi is in hot soup for threatening top government and NRM officials.
Security nabbed US based Kato Kajubi at Entebbe international Airport on allegations of posting an offensive video on social media threatening minister of state for investment Evelyn Anite, MPs Raphael Magyezi and Simeo Nsubuga.
Vicent Ssekate, Criminal Investigations Department mouthpiece confirmed the arrest of Kajubi and five others and face charges of offensive communication in an interview with NBS TV last night.
Ssekate narrated: “There is a file at Kibuli. They recorded a video threatening, Anite, Raphael Magezi, Simeo Nsubuga and others and posted it on social media.”
He went on: “Stating that you will also be shot like Abiriga. Something like that. The file has been opened and police has been investigating. I think when he was arrested, there was a similar file with ISO.”
Ssekate confirmed: “So ISO has taken him for interrogation. Him and others, they were five. There is also one known as Kabuye Robert, one who calls himself Al Hajji, Reno, Milton Alimadi and then Nasser Mugerwa.”
