Charles Peter Mayiga has alerted the country that the ongoing friction is as a result of people fighting to have a piece of the national cake.
Katikkiro Mayiga was addressing the Buganda Parliament in Mengo Monday morning.

“Amama Mbabazi left President Museveni because he wanted power,” Mayiga pointed out amidst cheers from the house.

He went on: “Those in power need to know that those not power also want it.”

Mayiga raised the cases of torture of MPs Robert Kyagulanyi, Francis Zaake, Paul Mwiru, Gerald Karuhanga and Kasiano Wadri in Arua.
