Government has hit out at Robert Kyagulanyi and Francis Zaake and claimed that the farce about them going abroad for treatment ‘was just politicking’.
Bobi Wine and Zaake were finally cleared this week to seek specialized treatment in the US and India, respectively after government blocking them.

Cabinet spokesman Baryomunsi Chris in the weekly government news conference, hit out at the pair: “As you have heard from the Minister of Health, Jane Ruth Aceng all these Members of Parliament could be treated from our hospitals here. All this chaos that came with them going abroad was just politicking.”
Minister of Health Aceng had earlier told media: “I want to emphasise that we had and still have all the expertise to treat those Members of Parliament that left. Our hospitals are good enough. “
