Government has hit out at Bobi Wine’s lawyer Robert Amsterdam over his next course of action on the Kampala regime.
Amsterdam organised an international news conference in Washington, US for Bobi Wine real name Robert Kyagulanyi to explain himself to the world over alleged torture after chaotic Arua by-election.
Ofwono Opondo the government spokesperson, blasted: “Robert Amsterdam doesn’t understand the diplomacy issues of America. USA doesn’t provide UPDF with aid, however we have an MOU in training either here or there. He is just shaking because of his clients.”
Opondo continued: “Robert Amsterdam doesn’t understand diplomatic issues clearly from what he said. Mr Amsterdam needs to first understand these issues because what was said looked like unconfirmed allegations on this Government.”
