Bobi Wine returns tomorrow from US where he has been receiving specialized treatment after alleged torture by Special Forces Command in Arua after chaotic by-election campaigns.
Asuman Basalirwa in a news conference in Kampala advised the kiboko squad to stay home or face full force of people power.
Basalirwa, also MP Bigiri Municipality, narrated: “The kiboko squad of CPS has been recalled and hired to cause mayhem. They have been given t-shirts, they have been given money and intoxicants
They will be lined along the roads. And their role will be to stone. To beat. To steal. And if it is late in the night, and to also attack, especially the women.”
He added: “Now we want to inform the country that anybody who creates violence tomorrow is not part of us. We don’t take you to police, we deal with you there and then. We want to warn anybody who has been given a t-shirt and money, stay at home.”
Police spokesman Emilian Kayima earlier warned immediate members of Bobi Wine’s family will only be allowed at the Airport and no procession will be allowed.
