NRM is not afraid of Robert Kyagulanyi (Bobi Wine). He is occupying opposition space, government minister has echoed.
Bobi Wine is in the US for specialized treatment and in his brief stay there he has had engagements with the international media on his alleged torture at the hands of the Special Forces Command SFC.

Critics of the regime claim Wine who is the Kyadondo East MP is a huge threat. However, government has stood their ground and rubbished these claims, insisting they do not share the same constituency with the singer turned politician.
Minister Frank Tumwebaze appearing on NBS TV break fast show utterly dismissed the claims: “Bobi Wine is not giving NRMOnline any bloody nose. We went to LC1 elections and won. Most Ugandans live in villages even in Kampala and vote NRM. Bobi Wine is in the space of the opposition and people can see that.”
Tumwebaze blasted: “What alternative policy has Bobi Wine articulated? By the way, there’s a big silent majority that is angry with President Museveni and government for being tolerant of what is happening.”
