FDC Youth wing have cheered to the departure of founding member Gen. Mugisha Muntu from the party but warned him that his intended links with Bobi Wine will not work.
Gen. Muntu announced his departure from the party on Tuesday after a meeting at Fairway Hotel in Kampala.
FDC Youth wing organised a news conference at City Hall in Kampala where they welcomed the former party President’s decision to leave.
Robert Mayanja, one of the leaders, said: “Muntu is just an Orator, Bobi Wine is a youth revolutionary leader so they can’t work together.”
Mayanja questioned: “Change is just next door, couldn’t Muntu just hold on?”
Habib Buwembo, one of the FDC youth leaders dismissed: “We are not hurt by Gen Muntu’s leaving. Muntu is just a sweet talker.”
